1- I really like the original. I discovered it not so long ago. An 80's song that could make me remember my childhood would be something between "tarzan boy" or "Nikita" and some "more David Guilmour" Pink Floyd...
2-That would probably be something like "Mega" by Antipop Consortium. But perfect songs should be left untouched
3- I would love to see Napalm Death covering BMX!

1- originally the track was made for someone else which never manifested. we finally decided that i should sing it, but then i got insecure cause us doing a madonna cover was too obvious, so we scrapped it. you guys hit us up and it only made sense to finish what was started.
2- probably make a club version of a whites stripes song.
3- the white stripes

1- The Go-Go's symbolize some of the good things about the eighties. Girls riding around in their cars, taking what
they want from life without restrictions.  Girls just wanna have fun.
2- I'd probably do a cover of one of my friends' songs.  Or someone I wish was
my friend, Mirah for instance.
3- I'd want Delta 5 to make a cover.

2- ugh...I keep thinking of songs from the 90's I'd want to cover....I suppose Young Folks then!

1- I wasn't even born when this song first came out. I preferred Kraftwerk for a long time. Then I suddenly got soft and soppy and began exploring the Cure. I decided that ACAG was the ultimate soundtrack to my happy hours with Kafka and his friends.  And so it remains.
2- Milkshake by Kelis.

1- Paul Simon's GRACELAND was the first cassette I'd ever purchased. He's an artist not commonly associated with the 80s, but after years of being a fan, I believe it's his finest album.
2-Chocolate Rain, by Tay Zonday. It is a brilliant, relentless, misunderstood song
3- Mariah Carey- simply for the ASCAP royalties

1- We had found a bar we liked that had this alternative / indie thing going. On Wednesday nights we rarely drank anything cause we had to take the car home. And in my head, the soundtracks to those totally sober but crazy nights is this song, Safety Dance.
2- Hey Ya, it's a pretty cold song now, but I will love it again in a cople of years!
3- M83

1- I heard the original track in a movie recently for the first time in years, and as soon as I heard it I knew it was the one.
2- In 20 years I would probably remix D.A.N.C.E. just to beat a dead horse.
3- I would love Bag Raiders to remix a track of mine. Their Pro Nails remix is my favorite track ever.

1- We really liked the idea of taking a song that exemplified the wackiness of 80's rock music and turning it into something darker and sexier. "Stand & Deliver" by Adam & the Ants seemed like the obvious choice.
2- "Party Hard" by Andrew WK.
3- BYU Vocal Point doing an acapella cover of one of our tracks.
