Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
A friend of mine recorded the string section a few years ago and I was waiting for the right moment to use it. Since that friend recently passed away I thought I would make some kind of tribute and finally dig out the recording and build an arrangment of other instruments upon it.

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
We love floating through time and space! And music is one of the very few vehicles that make this possible, in a both physical and imaginative way, heart and soul being its warp drive. But yeah... one will burn!

Nostalgia or tribute?
t's actually a combination...a kind of tribute to the nostalgic feel of the song. It's a tribute to the power of this song...the darkness, the emotion, the buildup and finally the release. Experiencing a song like that is bound to leave a lasting impression...so our version is a tribute to all of those lasting impressions it's left in everyone that's heard it.

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
I chosen this base because it is necessary to me for a nowadays goodliving, good music to remember what brought us here. It works as well for music, Bee gees have made millions of people dancing all night through, a fucking DJ's dream.

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
Siempre me ha atraido la idea de readaptar canciones de los 80's tipo Bee Gees o sintonias de TV como Inspector Gadget y llevarlas hacia sonidos como el filter house o el french touch.

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
I don't know a soul who wouldn't want to be a mid 80's Madonna. Madonna's 'Live To Tell' is one of my favorite popular hits and one of her most uncharacteristic songs. It's really well written and beautiful.

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
t was johnny's idea to record Wicked Game. he's our master producer and drummer extraordinary. he heard it in the car one day and thought we could do it a little more fun and slightly more repressed then the original, which is magical. i don't think we do magical, but fun and repressed

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
We're fans of underground disco music from 70s and 80s and that Tantra track is one of the bests. We start doing a cover with the same structure but in the end we thought that made no sense, we start again and tried to do the craziest song with a new structure, with sense, we hope.

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
I'm a huge fan of funk & soul due to my love of hip hop and the old 'breaks' and this song is up there as one of my fave songs of the era. Its a song with an amazing beat and one of my fave basslines ever so i knew this was the track to go for.

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular? We always sing this song when we end up in a particularly ridiculous "lifestyles of the rich and famous" situation. Also, for some reason this song reminds me of the Arcade Fire, they both seem to draw something lyrically from The Boss and kind of surprised me that those two have something in common..

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
We've always been a bit guilty of having a soft spot for the disco period. There we're so many great tunes then and the quality of the production really stepped up a notch. Lost In Music is a simple yet perfectly formed track that really lends it self to being reinterpreted in our own style.

Kraftwerk is the biggest and most important musical influence to us and to electronic music in general, and this is their best song. Wasnt a difficult choice.

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
Mickey Finn's "Some Justice" represents a seminal point in Dance culture for us. We both had our first rave experiences in the summer of 1991 and this track made driving around for hours trying to find the soundsystem that was tucked away in some forest or field so worth it.

Nostalgia or tribute?
Well the song definately brings back a lot of memories for me, so there's certainly a bit of nostalgia involved. But I think the song and its message are pretty timeless, so I suppose my version is a tribute of sorts, in that I'm putting my own stamp on it and hopefuly putting that message out there again.

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
I think we already spent too much time sampling the 70's and the 80's, which were of course really great and rich. The 90's were also tremendously rich in electronic and dance music, so i think there's a lot of gold material there!..

Why have you chosen this journey back in time in particular?
Years ago Andy Summers used to visit the small lake that we stayed at during spring holidays. My father loved The Police and would often say hello to him. Soon they became acquaintances, through a mutual love of photography. Then later I fell in love for the first time and understood what they were singing about. Now we sing about it.
